A New initiative of the Hastings Art Trail is our participation in the monthly Foreshore Markets. These markets are held on the second Saturday of each month and feature artists, artisans and locally made products and produce to entice the public and tourists in what the region has to offer.
We have our own stall, as well as a few art trail members have their own personal stalls which combine to showcase some of our fine artworks, mosaics and jewellery. Please come along and see what's on offer as the display changes each month depending on which artists are manning the stalls.
We are also opening our galleries on a regular basis which is the Sunday following the markets, generally hours will be 10:00am to 3:30 - 4:00 pm, depending on each galleries preference. It is recommended to ring ahead to make sure the gallery you're interested in visiting will definately be open. You'll be more than welcome and each artist has a unique style which will make your visit very interesting to see the range of paintings, prints, mosacis and jewellery on offer.
